Based on the odds of playing the Powerball, the Jackpot should be at least $161,134,919 before you consider playing. I do not recommend playing Powerball games because the odds are far too astronomical for you to affect. Lotto - Play
The Colorado Lotto is a good game to play because the potential earnings is actually worth taking the risk to play. You only have to choose from 42 numbers which greatly increases your odds of winning. You should play this game when the Jackpot reaches$4,363,597.
Cash 5 - Avoid
This game is a money maker for the government, granted all games are technically money makers. Since the jackpot is a static $20,000 you will never reach a reasonable jackpot that would make this game worth playing. The Dollar Value per Odd for this game is $.45... Terrible.

Colorado Lottery Scratch Off Info
It is odd to see that the Colorado Lotto doesn't have more options for big lottery games. They do, however, have a lot of different scratch offs to play. I don't recommend playing scratch offs because the odds of you winning the big prize or any subsequent prize after that are determined by how many of those tickets have been purchase and how many prizes have been won. It could be that as tickets are bought, your odds of winning get better because tere are less losing tickets out there. Or they could be getting worse. You just can't tell.
